Overview
You may have the universe if I may have Italy!
Lido di Jesolo, close to Venice, is a purpose-built beach resort in north-east Italy, on the Adriatic Sea. Its miles of sandy beach, rows of sunbeds, and night-time entertainment attract thousands of tourists every summer. Entirely focused on tourism, Lido di Jesolo is very different from other Italian towns.
The city of Venice, Italy, is simply stunning and completely unique. Founded more than 1,500 years ago on 117 different islands, Venice is linked by a series of over 150 canals, 400 bridges, and many ancient pavements. There are numerous famous Venice attractions and sights to see: the Basilica San Marco, San Marco Square - situated in the heart of Venice; the Palazzo Ducale and the Accademia Gallery - with wonderful masterpieces by world-famous artists.
Aqualandia is the "water and themed" park number 1° in Italy, recently it has been elected best European Water Park, it mimics a real Caribbean Isle next to Venice, an oasis of entertainment of 80.000 square meters where relax, fun, extreme sports, and water attractions are mixed together for every age (from children to youth and families).
Accommodation
The participation fee is 209€ per person for 4 nights & 249€ per person for 5 nights.
It includes:
- Accommodation in 3* Hotel
- Half Board Basis with 2 meals per day - breakfast and dinner
- Participation in 2 Concerts and a Defile

For every 25 participants, 1 member is free of charge.
The accommodation of the groups will be in 3*** Hotels in Lido di Jesolo very close to the beach and the squares where the performances will be organized. The Groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 and 4 beds with their own bathroom. Each Group can have only 3 double rooms which can be used for the Leaders and Drivers.

Itinerary
The International folk dance festival “Mare Adriatico” is a non-competitive sample of traditional dances performed by folklore groups. Modern popular music is not allowed!
During the Festival each group will have at least two performances on the squares (big stages) of Lido di Jesolo and province Veneto. Depending on the number of groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance. You can perform with live music or CD and you should have a flag and a sign with the name of the group for the Defile. After the last performance, there will be an exchange of presents and diplomas.
The groups have to arrive in Lido di Jesolo on 16h of June after 13:00 (starting with dinner) and leave on 20th of June 2024 after having breakfast and leave the rooms till 10:00.
All program activities and performances will be held in the evening hours with short parades so every day is free for participants to use the sandy beach or visit some of the tourist attractions.
The festival organizers will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from the airport, during the festival days, and back to the same airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed upon according to their number.
The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Lido di Jesolo and back. The groups coming by bus should use their own transport all the time during the festival.

Parking for buses (during your stay) is paid by the group at the rate set on the parking place. There are only a few free parking places on the main road of Lido di Jesolo around Aqualandia!

Detailed Festival Program will be given to you 1 month before the start of the festival.
The organizer reserves the right to any changes in the program, and the participants will be informed on time. By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions!

Things to do
Explore Venice like never before!
1. VISITING VENICE BY BOAT
Venice is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, due to the city being one of the world's greatest and most beautiful cities of art. The city has an average of 50,000 tourists a day. Today there are numerous attractions in Venice, such as St Mark's Basilica, the Grand Canal, and the Piazza San Marco, to name a few. The Lido di Venezia is also a popular international luxury destination, attracting thousands of actors, critics, celebrities, and main people in the cinematic industry.
2. ISLANDS TOUR - VISITING MURANO, BURANO & TORCELLO (the Italian Heaven)
The island MURANO, recognized worldwide as the capital of blown glass, the precious secrets of the antique glass manufacture, passed down from generation to generation by the master glassmakers that with skillful techniques and skilled hands, have been in centuries transforming the simple matter in artworks. A stop by a historical factory to watch the heat manufacturing of glass – duration about 45 minutes.
Following, the second island is BURANO, a “multi-colored palette”. The island of fishermen and of “tombolo” embroiderers, an ancient instrument with which beautiful bobbin lace and lace artifacts are nowadays still realized. Visit a lace and bobbin lace laboratory and walk through the streets of the small town – duration about 50 minutes.
In the end, the third island is TORCELLO or as it was said, “Turricellum”, the most ancient and prosperous settlement of the lagoon up to the rise of Venezia. Today it counts only 15 inhabitants and it is a very popular tourist place.
3. AQUALANDIA
Aqualandia is much more than a traditional water park. It's a true themed fun island, with 26 attractions (including the highest water – slide in the world and Europe's highest bungee jumping tower), 7 shows, and 4 animation activities.
4. TROPICARIUM PARK
Colorful themed animal park with kid-friendly exhibits, an aquarium & a predator display.
The Tropicarium area is a long journey with lots of animals: you can learn about the cute aquatic and terrestrial turtles, the mysterious geckos, strange lizards like iguanas, water dragons, basilisk, poisonous "Gila monsters", and many others. Then there are the small and large snakes, frogs, toads, and salamanders.
Aquarium - Relaxing path with many different species of tropical fish. In the first part of the itinerary, you can admire very rare "primitive" fish such as the Limuli, which have existed since the time of the dinosaurs, dangerous and deadly stonefish, poisonous scorpionfish, showy and irascible triggerfish, surgeon, butterfly, and many others.
Predators – Crocodiles and sharks are great predators that have existed since the time of the dinosaurs, they are prehistoric animals! They are among the few survivors of the dinosaur era, and in fact, they haven't changed much during the last 65 million years. The Predators area hosts the most dangerous predators in the world, always the most feared but also the most named.
